Sandy Point Restaurant is a family owned business located on scenic Lake Winnipesaukee
in Alton Bay, New Hampshire. It has been operated by Alton natives Walter and Jeanne Damon for over 30 years.
The Damons took over operation of the restaurant from Sandy Point
Beach Resort. Over the years the restaurant has grown to include seating up to 200 guests and a diverse menu of delectable
New England dishes. This exquisite family establishment has become known for its large portions of seafood and prime rib specialties,
with a variety of other offerings for your dining enjoyment.
The dish that separates this restaurant apart from other local establishments is the King
stuffed lobster. The “King”, is a fresh Maine lobster stuffed with rich seafood stuffing and additional chunks
of lobster meat. For those with a hearty appetite or just up for a challenge, the menu includes a 2 ¼ pound King stuffed
lobster and a 28 ounce mouth watering USDA Choice Prime Rib. As if this was not enough food to bring the
hungriest person to fulfillment… Most main courses come with a choice of two side dishes, including
a fresh house salad.
